The brand
Yesim is a global eSIM provider competing in a crowded travel-connectivity market. The problem wasn't product, it was awareness. Plenty of travellers need mobile data abroad. Few think of Yesim at the moment they buy.
The challenge
Paid ads buy reach, not recall. Yesim needed travellers to remember the name in the exact context where an eSIM matters: landing in a new country, phone in hand, no local SIM. That kind of memory comes from someone travellers already trust, not from an ad unit.
The approach
ScoutBerry matched Yesim with Von (@arianaalatte), a Seoul-based English-language travel creator whose audience is exactly the mobile, always-connected traveller Yesim wants to reach.
One brief, one deliverable: a single TikTok showing the real setup and use of Yesim abroad, in Von's own voice.
The results, from a single TikTok
25.8K
Organic views, 91% from non-followers. Near-pure reach to a new audience.
6.5%
Save rate (1,670 saves), roughly 6x the typical benchmark. Saves signal intent.
11.6%
Like rate (2,988). Total engagement near 19%.
+129
New followers from one post. Reach that converted into audience.
~10%
Of search traffic to the video was people searching “Yesim” by name.
74% F
Audience skew, 42% aged 25–34. A defined, sellable demographic.
The signal that matters: branded search
After the video, viewers didn't just watch. They searched.
On-platform search queries bringing people to the post included “Yesim” (the top branded term), “esim south korea” (category), and, tellingly, “yesim discount code”. That last one is bottom-funnel intent: awareness turning into a purchase decision, measurable and on-platform. Von herself became a searched name too.
The story isn't the view count. It's the funnel: people watched, engaged, followed, then searched the brand by name. From one creator, one post.
In the creator's words
“I only recommend things I'd actually pack. Setting up Yesim before a trip is genuinely easier than hunting for a SIM at the airport, so it was an easy one to make. Seeing how many people saved it told me they felt the same.”
